I just found a fairly new thread at ubuntuforums.org telling that Quikee, who had joined the original developers Malac and Chanders of USP, USP2 and USP3 month ago, has taken up development of USP2 now.
Whatever way it goes I just hope it will progress into universe soon and improve stability- and featurewise all the while. Previews do look very promising!

Well, the answer is I haven’t installed it — yet. The captures are not from my desktop, I just picked them up. This is some sort of to-do-list for me
Nevertheless I can tell you, that transparency is meant to be a new feature of version 3 which is what the video is about. See youtubes site of the video for more details.

Wow. That looks really amazing! Can you tell me how do you got the transparency on the second video? I’ve installed USP v2.0 but it looks different. Thank you very much in advance!
